One of the fun creations that caught young Sammi Hanratty’s eye was the Mia MY jacket founded by Andrea Ann Kazanjian. Mia MY is a brand new company that was launched earlier this year with the goal of promoting creativity, self-expression and individuality in tween girls today. You know those washable bears that you love so much and have all of your friends sign? Well, Mia MY has taken the washable marker fabric to a whole new level. Now you can have fun designing your own outfit with a brand new washable jacket that allows tweens to express their creativity with a variety of colorful markers. Sammi Hanratty loved Mia MY and posed at the booth wearing a jacket that was pre-made by the creators.

Sammi Hanratty is well-grounded

"The worst part about being an actress is people are always asking how much money you make," Hanratty said. "I don't like to talk about that. It's weird. That's not something kids should talk about."

She will, however, discuss the free clothes companies lavish on her. Her doll-like features and tiny frame have made her a darling for tween brands like Boy Meets Girl and Petite Joie, which provided the brown bohemian top she wore with skinny jeans. Too little for teen brands, but sophisticated beyond children's lines, finding clothes in stores can be a challenge. Hanratty likes contemporary labels Ella Moss and Splendid. Her go-to mall store is one not found at MOA: West Coast chain Tilly's (Tillys.com).

Sometimes, her publicist will call a clothing company and ask for items. Sometimes, they contact Hanratty. "If I show it on the red carpet, that's good for them." READ MORE

Sammi Hanratty joins forces with CSEE and BMG

Sammi is passionate about raising awareness about bullying and will be speaking out about the importance of STANDING UP and STANDING STRONG together against bullying. Sammi recently starred in An American Girl: Chrissa Stands Strong, where she played American Girl of the Year Doll Chrissa who moves to a new school mid-year and has to deal with making friends, dealing with bullies and standing up for herself.

JJJ: Did a lot of people recognize you?
SH: Yeah, because I’m in the new American Girl movie - Chrissa Stands Strong. They [the girls] have been seeing advertisements for that. Then a lot of kids recognize me from The Suite Life of Zack and Cody.

JJJ: Are you used to the fame yet?
SH: Mainly, from The Suite Life, so a little bit. Sometimes when I go to Chuckie Cheese or something. (laughs)
